Christmas Window Display Competition

Christmas in Tawa red Follow the trail of Christmas themed window displays throughout Tawa, vote for your favourite display and be in with a chance to win spot prizes.

Fun for all the family - why not spend the day in Tawa checking out the beautiful displays, stopping for a spot of lunch at one of our great cafes or restaurants, catching up on some Christmas shopping and then voting for your favourite window display before you head home.

Flyers are available in over 50 outlets throughout Tawa or can be downloaded from the links below

Your completed entry form can be posted in one of our special Santa post boxes situated at the Tawa Community Centre, Tawa Mervyn Kemp Library or at the Tawa Business Group offices at 220B Main Road, Tawa. If you can't get to one of our post boxes, you can fill in the form online here or take a photo of it and email it through to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Entering the competition is as easy as ABC:

A - Each numbered window display will have a sticker with a letter in the bottom right-hand corner. Record the letter onto the map and transfer this letter onto the entry form. It will spell out a Christmas message. You don't have to complete this part to be in to win a spot prize.
B - Choose your favourite Christmas window display from the 19 options outlined in the flyer.
C - Fill in your contact details and age, if under 18 for the children's prizes, and post your entry form either in one of three special Santa post boxes or online here.

Competition ends at midnight on Sunday 18 December 2022.
Only one entry per person.
Participants must be New Zealand residents.
Tawa Business Group takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected or incorrectly completed entry forms.
Spot prizes are awarded at the discretion of the Tawa Business Group and their decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable.
Winners will be notified by Tuesday 20 December.
Winners are required to claim their prize in person and must provide proper identification. If the winner is under 18 years old, their parent or legal guardian must accompany them or give prior written consent before collection of the prize.
Winners take the prizes at their own risk and indemnifies Tawa Business Group in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize.
Winners may grant Tawa Business Group exclusive permission to use their names and photographs in connection with the competition and for future promotion and marketing purposes. Winners waive any claim to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
The personal information you provide will not be used for anything other than for this competition. Post codes will only be used as a measure of the success of the project.
Participation in the promotion is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
If the winner does not accept these Terms and Conditions then the prize will be forfeited.
