The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
As a casual support worker you will be supporting 6 residents in a housing and recovery service, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Monitor residents
Prepare residents' homes for the next day
Conducting welfare checks
Budgeting and independent daily living skills
Attending appointments and advocating for people.
Medication support
Work in a recovery focused way
Cleaning, cooking, or helping with everyday household tasks in preparation for transition to independent living in the community.
Being a casual support worker, you will be filling in shifts as required, when permanent employees are on sick leave, annual leave etc.

You will be reporting to the Team Coach.

You | Mōu

Hold a current full driver's licence
Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or currently working towards it.
Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti Waitangi
