Over the years, the culinary adventurer in me had been exploring and finally found the magical combination of taste and texture in wheat-based Asian specialty range. I then set myself the goal to re-create them in gluten-free so to tempt all taste buds, starting with premium gluten-free dumplings.
For those of us who are touched by gluten-free in different ways, we all have our own unique journey into the gluten-free world. My first introduction to gluten-free cuisine was through bringing up my daughters who have food allergies. The experience taught me the importance of staying vigilant. For this reason I ensure Kim's Kitchen is completely free of gluten, egg, dairy, and nuts.
My gluten-free journey was inspired by my time with my late mother. I worked with her to experiment dietary change to gluten-free as part of an attempt to stave off her cancer. We tried gluten-free Asian finger food so mum got to enjoy her bits of joy in life. The experience affected me deeply and inspired me to proceed to Kim's gluten-free Kitchen. There is plenty of LOVE that goes into each of my carefully hand crafted products.
